✅ High Protein  ✅ Easy to make

This delicious French toast has the delicious flavours of a tiramisu, but made into easy breakfast form! If you love tiramisu you’re going to love this high protein healthier version which is super quick to make and will set you off to a great day.

Here are the ingredients you need:

  • 3 slices of bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 espresso shot
  • 1 tbsp sugar free syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

For topping:

  • 2 tbsp light cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp skyr or Greek yoghurt
  • 1 espresso shot
  • 2 tbsp powdered erythritol (can sub for any other sweetener)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Whisk the egg, espresso shot, vanilla and syrup. Dip each bread slice in the mix making sure is fully coated
  2. Over a pre heated skillet cook both sides of the bread until golden brown
  3. Mix the topping ingredients making sure there are no lumps
  4. Serve the bread and layer with the topping, sprinkle some cocoa powder on top and enjoy!
