Rice paper is the most useful thing in my pantry. It crisps in the air fryer, steams soft, freezes into mochi and wraps almost anything, and it happens to be naturally gluten-free. Over the last year it has turned into a project: 100 ways to eat rice paper, and this page collects every recipe so far in one place.
I’m Alexandra, a Certified Nutrition Coach (RSPH) based in the UK. My recipes are mostly dairy-free, high-protein where it makes sense and never restrictive. You’ll find salmon sushi bakes, crispy dumplings, air fryer chips and spring rolls filled with banana and strawberries. They all use the same simple sheets.
Not sure where to start? Begin with the Rice Paper Sushi Burrito for dinner or the Mango Mochi for dessert. The sections below are grouped by type of dish, so you can jump straight to what you’re craving.
What Can You Make With Rice Paper?
Rice paper can be soaked, then air-fried, steamed, baked or frozen to make wraps, dumplings, crispy chips, spring rolls, pizza pockets and even desserts such as mochi. Plain rice paper is naturally gluten-free, though brands vary, so check the label. Start with a savoury wrap or a batch of air fryer chips; both take about 15 to 25 minutes.

Rice Paper Tips
Dip each sheet in cold water for just a few seconds; it keeps softening as you work, so pull it out before it feels ready. For crisp results, air fry at a medium heat and brush lightly with oil. Keep fillings dry so the wrappers don’t tear. If you’d like a few ideas before diving in, my quick guide 3 Rice Paper Recipes You Must Try is a good first stop.
