I came up with this idea one day when I had some left over filo pastry and some very ripe bananas, the addition of peanut butter just gives these that sweet and savoury mix which I really like.
The filo goes super flaky if you add some melted butter or oil, I also like to add some sesame seeds to top. If you want to go a step further why not drizzle them with some melted chocolate!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
- 1 banana
- 2 Phyllo pastry sheets
- 1 tbsp Peanut butter
- Cooking spray
Method:
- Spray some cooking oil over a filo sheet and make sure to brush all over
- Peel and chop your banana in 3
- Spread some peanut butter over the short end of the filo, add the banana and roll tightly
- Close the ends, spray some more oil and top with sesame seeds
- Air fry at 170c for 16 minutes, let cool slightly and enjoy!
