✅ Easy to make
I am embracing my pastry era and trying more savoury recipes. Feta is a Greek cheese made from sheep and goat’s milk, it is generally soft, quite crumbly and salty. It is traditionally use with phyllo pastry but also goes very well with puff pastry.
Pairing feta with honey is a divine combination as the sweet and saltiness balance perfectly, add a pinch of chilly and you will have an absolutely delicious pastry which you can show off with your friends or family.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
- Puff pastry
- Feta cheese
- Honey
- Chilly flakes
Method:
- Cut your pastry in around 1cm wide strips, spread some honey over one side
- Cut some feta into sticks of your preferred size
- Wrap the feta in the pastry making sure to seal the ends, add some egg wash and sesame seeds
- Bake at 180c for 20-25 minute.
- Meanwhile mix some honey with chilli flakes, if the mix is too thick add some water
- Serve the pastries and drizzle some honey. Enjoy!
