Beetroot & Mozzarella Patties

Every time I get beetroot I try to find new ways to cook with them. I wanted to make them crispier and that’s how this idea came up! Crispy patties filled with some melty cheese, absolutely delicious.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  • 3 cooked beetroots
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • Garlic granules
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mozarella cheese

Dip:

  • geeek yoghurt
  • Tahini
  • Grated cucumber
  • Garlic
  • Salt

Method:

  1. Add the beetroot to a food processor
  2. In a bowl mix beetroot, egg, cream cheese, bread crumbs, garlic granules, and cheese. Season to taste
  3. Form around 6 patties and cook overnight a medium-heat frying pan, cook both sides until crispy
  4. Serve with your dip and enjoy!
