I keep seeing videos of honey butter toasts from a bakery in London. I have changed the recipe slightly and added some St Dalfour apricot spread to elevate it to the next level.
This version is cooked is a frying pan but you could also use an oven, either way should get you that crispy sweet crust.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
3 slices of bread
St Dalfour Apricot fruit spread
20g softened butter
15g brown sauce
Pinch of salt
Method:
Cut the crust of the bread slices
Spread some apricot jam over each of the bread slices and stack them on top
Mix the butter, brown sugar and salt and spread over the bread making sure to cover all sides
Cook over a medium heat skillet until golden brown
Serve and top with some whipped yoghurt and more apricot jam. Enjoy!
