✅ Easy to make
I never knew that making home made soft cheese was so easy, it only required two ingredients, basic utensils and you would have the most delicious cheese which you can flavour as you like.
I added some herbs and a bit of salt to mine as I had in mind a recipe for later on but you can also use this for cheesecakes, cake frosting, pretty much anything you would use cream cheese for.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
- 500ml milk
- Juice of 1 lime
Method:
- Heat up the milk but don’t let it boil, add the lime juice, mix and let stand
- Over a bowl use a sieve and cloth and pour the milk over it
- Leave so the liquid drains, if you can wait leave in the fridge overnight and the next day is ready
- If you don’t want to wait squeeze the liquid out and then add to a food processor until it is creamy
- You can add herbs, salt or whatever flavouring you like
