This is a nostalgic recipe which brings lots of happy childhood memories, sharing these with family and friends.
Palmiers are a traditional French pastry, in South America we call them orejitas and are slightly smaller making them a great sweet snack.
Here are the ingredients you will need::
- Pre rolled puff pastry sheet
- Erythritol
Method:
- ISprinkle a good amount of erythritol over the pastry sheet , using a rolling pin roll the pastry thinner
- Turn and repeat step 1. Starting with the long edge ring the pastry tightly stopping in the middle of the rectangle, repeat with the opposite edge. Meanwhile preheat your oven to 190c
- Cut the pastry into thin 1/2cm thick slices, arrange on a baking tray.
- Bake for around 12 minutes at 190c turning them half way through. Let cool and enjoy!
