✅ Easy to make ✅ High Protein
When I saw the pizza sandwich trend I knew I had to try it, I decided to make it with an easy yoghurt dough which still gives you those crispy bubbles. Rolled it in some yellow maize flour (or semolina) for extra crispness.
For the fillings you can choose whatever you prefer, for this one I chose cheese, chilli chimichurri, some salad leaves and prosciutto. It was beyond delicious
Here are the ingredients you will need::
- 150g flour
- 120g skyr (thick fat free yoghurt)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- Low calorie spray
Method:
- Mix the yoghurt, flour, salt, baking powder and olive oil
- Knead the dough for around 5 minutes and leave to rest for 10 minutes
- Sprinkle down yellow maize flour over a surface and roll your dough until it is around 3mm thick
- Air fry at 180c for 6 minutes, turn add cheese and cook further 3-4 minutes, If using an oven cook at 200c for 10 mins, turn add cheese and cook further 6-8 minutes
- Add your filling and enjoy
