✅ Gluten Free ✅ Easy to make
This was my first time baking with quinoa flour, the rolls turned out really amazing, I love how versatile this flour is. Taste wise it does have a strong tasted which I wasn’t overly keen on but as a gluten free option is still fabulous!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
- 3g instant yeast
- 150ml lukewarm milk
- 40g melted butter
- 50g sweetener
- 300g quinoa flour
- Filling: chocolate protein spread
- Egg wash
Method:
- Add yeast and milk to a bowl and mix, add rest of dough ingredients, mix well with an spatula first until it forms a ball
- Over a floured surface knead for 5-10 minutes, the dough will be a bit sticky but that’s okay
- Cover and rest for 60 minutes
- Punch dough and flatten with a rolling pin to form a rectangle, spread the chocolate all over then start rolling the dough as shown in the video
- I made some cuts with scissors and then brushed with egg
- Bake at 180c for 20-25 minutes until golden. Enjoy!
