Why You’ll Love This Egg Folded Wrap
  • High in protein – Great for keeping you full and supporting muscle recovery.
  • Quick and easy – Ready in minutes with just a few ingredients.
  • Customisable – Switch up the fillings to suit your taste.
  • No bread needed – A great low-carb alternative to a traditional wrap.
Ingredients (makes 1)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese (approximately 15g)
  • Herbs or seasoning of choice
Toppings:
  • 100g Tuna (approximately 3.5oz)
  • 15g Cheese (approximately 0.5oz)
  • Some salad leaves (to taste, approximately a handful)
Method
  1. Prepare the egg mixture – Whisk the eggs with cream cheese and herbs until smooth.
  2. Cook the egg base – Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the egg mixture, flipping halfway to ensure both sides are cooked.
  3. Add toppings and fold – Remove from the heat, make a cut from the centre outwards, and place different toppings in each quarter. Fold the sections over each other.
  4. Crisp it up – Return to the pan and cook each side until crispy and the cheese has melted.
  5. Serve and enjoy – Eat immediately while warm and golden.

Customisation Ideas
  • Different protein options – Swap tuna for smoked salmon, grilled chicken, or turkey slices.
  • Cheese variations – Try feta, mozzarella, or cheddar for different flavours.
  • Vegetarian version – Skip the tuna and add mushrooms, avocado, or roasted peppers.
  • Extra crunch – Sprinkle sesame seeds or crushed nuts for added texture.
Tips for Success
  • Use a non-stick pan – This prevents the egg from sticking and makes flipping easier.
  • Cook on medium heat – Too high, and the egg may burn before cooking through.
  • Do not overload with toppings – Too many fillings can make folding difficult.
  • Eat fresh – Best enjoyed immediately while crispy and warm.
