Chocolate Buns

✅ Easy to make

I am a big chocolate lover and these rolls were perfect! They are quick, easy to make and so delicious.

This yeast dough is very simple to make so if you are a beginner baker like me you should still be able to make these a success.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  • 5g instant yeast
  • 200ml lukewarm milk (I used semi skimmed)
  • 60g melted light butter
  • 30g sweetener
  • 260g strong bread flour

Filling 

  • Chocolate spread
  • Glaze, mix sugar free syrup mixed with water

Method:

  1. Add yeast and milk to a bowl and mix, add rest of dough ingredients, mix well with a spoon until the dough looks stretchy, rest for 50 mins
  2.  Punch dough and divide the dough into around 4-6 balls, flatten each ball and add a tbsp of chocolate spread to the center, fold the edges in to close
  3. Flatten and make some cuts to one side of the dough (follow video steps)
  4. Add to a baking tray and rest for further 45 minutes
  5. Bake at 180c for 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
